BIO

Rochelle Haley is a Sydney based artist working with experimental drawing techniques and traditional painting and drawing media. She completed a Phd at the College of Fine Arts, UNSW in 2009. Haley has had several solo exhibitions in Sydney and abroad and has exhibited widely in group exhibitions in Australia, China, Malaysia, Pakistan, Portugal, France and Turkey. Haley's work is included in the collection of the NSW Attourney Generals Department, Gadens Lawyers, Principle Advisory Services and Hijjas Kasturi Associates. Recently Haley has been an artist in residence at Artspace, Sydney; Cite Internationale des Arts, Paris; Performing Arts Forum, St-Erme, France; Drawing Spaces, Lisbon, Portugal; Rimbun Dahan, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and Bundanon, NSW, Australia. Since 2009 Haley has initiated drawing-based performance collaborations with choreographers in France, Malaysia and Portugal.
